High quality powders

We operate metal atomization technology, which we use to produce metal powders in the range of 20 to 120 micrometers with a sphericity of 0.97. These are high quality powders suitable for additive technologies.

We produce spherical metal powders with a controlled particle size range from 10 to 120 µm, optimized for applications such as DMLS/DLMS printing, MIM, or plasma spraying. Our powders feature high sphericity, minimal satellite particles, and stable distribution. Thanks to ultrasonic atomization combined with plasma melting, we achieve significantly higher quality compared to common methods (e.g., VIGA, EIGA). We use only ultra-pure argon (>99.999%) to eliminate contamination with oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen. The resulting powders meet demanding requirements in terms of chemical composition, morphology, and reproducibility.

Materials

Advanced Metal Powders s.r.o. produces metal powders and alloys from reactive and high-melting-point metals with a focus on purity, precision, and technical quality. As the only company in Central Europe, we operate our own plasma melting technology with a bound arc, enabling the processing of elements such as titanium, zirconium, niobium, tantalum, and tungsten without contamination by oxygen, nitrogen, or hydrogen. This internally developed technology, validated in cooperation with CTU, achieves temperatures over 5000 °K and allows for very homogeneous melting even in extremely alloyed systems. The melt is subsequently atomized using ultrasound, producing spherical powders with minimal satellite particles and stable fractions in the 10–120 μm range. The resulting powders demonstrate exceptional properties for additive manufacturing, especially DMLS/DLMS printing, metal injection molding, and plasma spraying. We offer pure metals (Ti, Nb, Zr, Sn, Al, Fe, Cu, Ag, etc.), alloys such as TiNbTaSn, GUMMETAL, Ti64ELI, or highly alloyed systems like INCONEL and Al+REE. We also supply master alloys in the form of ingots or rods, which can be further processed by rolling or forging according to customer requirements.
